On the fine shores and rapids (Kukkola, Matka, Vuento, Kattila and Korpi)
of the famous salmon river, Tornionjoki. The fishing place depends on how far
upriver the salmon have progressed.When?
In summer, from 1st June to 15th August.
Salmon are protected from Monday at 7 p.m. to Wednesday at 7 p.m.

When
and how?
On 1st day You
- familiarise
yourself with fly-fishing equipment
- learn
to set up the fly-fishing equipment and practise casting
a fly-fishing rod on land
- learn
to make knots and to choose the right flies according to fishing
circumstances
- learn
fishing techniques
Learning
takes place under the guidance of the fishing guide.
Day
2 is devoted to
- practising
casting the fly-fishing rod into the water
- choosing
the fishing location

to the "actual" fishing place

to fly-fishing for real on the rapids

The
catch is treated so as to be ready for freezing.
The
trip includes fly-fishing training, the fishing licence for the river Tornionjoki for one
day, and transportation to the fishing place.
